An excerpt from an important relationship.

Socks Whitmore (they/them/theirs) is a Los Angeles-based actor-singer, lyricist-composer, and writer. Though their work includes poetry, playwriting, choral music, and games, they are happiest working in the world of new and socially conscious musical theatre and voice over, especially in pieces related to mental health and gender. Current projects include work as a trans/queer consultant on multiple musical projects, workshopping their queer one act musical in development, Pass: A Coming of Self Musical, and producing and starring as the titular character of Georgie Romero Is Done For, a horror-comedy fiction podcast. They hold a BFA Performer-Composer degree from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) with minors in Digital Arts and Creative Writing.

A statement from Socks:

"Given a prompt by a creative writing teacher to make art around "a conversation you need to have, but haven't had," I wrote and recorded this piece in late April 2020. I'm sharing now because I struggled to find positivity in these trying times, until I remembered my recent reflections on happier ones. Thanks to Gabrielle Civil for challenging me to write it, and to my sister for inspiring it."
