A Statement from Michele:
"The poem was written in 2020 because the Muse graced me with her presence. As I was a teen in the 80s, I still love 80s tunes--from pop to punk, and from metal to alternative. This music simply makes me happy. And I started thinking about the women in the lyrics of the various songs. This poem is one of a couple I've written to celebrate these fictional (or fictionalized) women."
