Iliana Babler is a teacher, voice actor, wife and cat-mom from Newmarket Ontario who enjoys creative writing in her spare time. Her struggle with concussion and chronic illness has fueled a learning journey of rest and recovery. This piece was created to express the tension between needing healing and not being there quite yet; it attempts to capture the feeling of awaiting summer in the early spring.
