A statement from Benen:

​

"I’m Benen Dykstra, I’m just your average guy living my life sitting down while trying to stand out from the rest in a non-accessible world. [This piece was originally created in] June of 2021 to show that people with Cerebral Palsy face different challenges everyday including this pandemic and being mislabelled by individuals who are unaware of how large the disability spectrum is. We all have challenges but, we are all people with goals, dreams, and feelings."
