Mid-Seven Figure, Series A Financing Round
LOS ANGELES – March 1, 2021 – CurtCo Media and SummitMedia announced today that they have entered into a strategic partnership that is expected to accelerate growth for both companies in the fast-growing, global podcasting business. Nearly one-third of the U.S. population, 100 million people, listen to podcasts at least once per month.
Los Angeles-based CurtCo Media has spent three decades building successful media businesses across all landscapes and currently produces cutting-edge quality scripted and unscripted podcast programming including the popular Hollywood Unscripted hosted by Jenny Curtis. SummitMedia owns and operates fifty radio stations in nine states. This is SummitMedia’s first formal alliance designed to advance the company’s foray into this hot new medium.
